The
NCRW credentialing program is administered
by the NRWA (National Resume
Writers' Association),
an international nonprofit trade association

Pat
Kendall served as NRWA's president, vice president, and certification
chair, playing key roles in developing programs that built
the organization from a regional startup into a national association
with more 300 members in the US and abroad. In addition, Pat
established NRWA's first Certification Commission and led
efforts to define certification standards,
launch an original certification program, and develop the
industry's first online training and continuing education
programs.
Pat
was the driving force behind NRWA's commitment to improve
industry standards through mentoring, member training, and
continuing education. Pat Kendall expanded the organization's
Web site, developed NRWA's online community, designed its
e-mail newsletter, and set up Internet discussion groups to
encourage member networking and mentoring.
In addition, Pat redesigned marketing and collateral materials,
developed Web site content, and functioned as the organization's
spokesperson and press liaison. She negotiated member discounts
and sponsorship programs and finalized
promotional agreements that generated national marketing exposure
for NRWA and its members. |

What
is Success?
To
laugh often and much; to win the respect of
intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn
the
appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal
of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find
the best in others; to leave the world a bit
better, whether by a healthy child, a garden
patch, or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
